Madonna’s clothing line Material Girl has signed a partnership with German shopping group Otto, which owns Freemans and Grattan, to launch the label in the UK and across Europe. The multi-territory deal is an exclusive agreement between MG Icon,

The line, which has been fronted by the likes of Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen, Kelly Osbourne and most recently Georgia May Jagger, consists of tops, jackets, skirts and jeans, and prices range from £15 to £100.
Oliver Klinck, vice president ladieswear and menswear, Otto said: “We are so excited to be launching Material Girl exclusively at Otto. Madonna and her daughter Lola have created a fresh and fashionable collection in the United States and we are thrilled to be able to offer it to our shoppers.”
Iconix Europe has also signed another retail deal with the Sports Direct Group for it to manufacture and sell its outdoor lifestyle apparel and accessories under license from Ocean Pacific, the Californian surf brand.
Angela Farrugia, managing director, Iconix Europe, said: “Both Otto, one of the world’s largest direct mail and e-commerce businesses and Sports Direct are leading retailers in their fields and we have worked closely to create a proposition that excites consumers and creates strong retail sales potential."
