Eileen Fisher launches in the UK

Premium US womenswear label Eileen Fisher launches in the UK this month with two stores opening in central London. The brand, known for its luxurious fabrics and timeless elegance, was founded in 1984 and has 55 stores across America. The new

UK stores will be located in two of London’s prestigious shopping areas Covent Garden and Marylebone, and are set to open over a two-week period.

e new locations mark the first standalone overseas stores for the company and an expansion for the brand into Europe. Currently, the $310 million womenswear brand does 90% of its business in the US, and the company’s goal is to open between 5-10 stores in the UK over the next five to 10 years.

“We think our commitment to beautiful fabrics, pure shapes and social responsibility will appeal to an international audience,” says Karen Gray, Director of the brand’s Retail Global Development. “We have long admired women’s dressing in the UK, many have an eclectic style that is both individual and fashion forward.”

In addition to two retail stores, the collection can also be found at Fenwick’s Bond Street and on the brand’s website, which allows UK customers to shop online.
