LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has announced
the appointment of Pauline Brown as chairman of its North American arm, LVMH Inc.Succeeding Renaud Dutreil, who left the company earlier this year, Brown will start her new role in the New York-based position on January 2, and will be responsible for representing LVMH in North America to both the business community and public authorities in the US, as well as helping to bring a coherence to the group and its regional affiliates of its brands.
Prior to her appointment, Brown was an independent investor and adviser to emerging luxury brands for the past two years. Before that, she was managing director at The Carlyle Group, worked for Avon Products as senior vice president of corporate strategy and global business development, and served as vice president of strategic planning and new business development at the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc.
