London-based labels win Premium’s young designers’ award

Tradeshow Premium has named three London-based designers

 as the best young talent in womenswear, menswear and accessories at their annual Premium Young Designers’ Award held in Berlin.

Danish-born, London-based designer Louise Körner won the womenswear designer award for her Louise Körner x Muuse label. Körner a graduate from London’s Central Saint Martins established her eponymous label in the British capital in 2012.

The menswear award was presented to Na Di, also a graduate from Central Saint Martin’s, for her street style and vintage toy inspired autumn/winter 2014 collection. While Jayne Hemsley’s label Hemsley London scooped the best accessories award for her “very British” label where each bag carries the name of a different British region or city.

As part of their prize, each designer will be given a stand at next season’s Premium exhibition and their collections will go on sale as part of the range at F95 The Fashion Store at Station-Berlin. The designers will also be given the opportunity to present their collections in the windows of department store Galeries Lafayette next season as part of the Premium young talents showcase.
