Asos HR director resigns

Asos has lost its second director this month, as human resources head Michelle Emmerson

steps down from the online fashion retailer.

Emmerson, who joined Asos in 2011, is the latest high profile departure at the online fashion giant, raising fears of growing boardroom unrest. She leaves the company less than a week after Kate Bostock, Asos’ executive director product and trading, announced that she was leaving just seven months into the role.

Prior to joining Asos, Emmerson worked for BBC Worldwide as group HR director.

Earlier this year, the online retailer also announced that its international director Jon Kamaluddin, who has been with the company for nine years, is to stand down from his role in October.
