The RealReal to open new location in Soho

The RealReal just announced its official men's shop opening in Soho. The luxury consignment company opened at 80 Wooster Street retailing sneakers, streetwear, and more.

The menswear store will feature items from elite brands Gucci, Tom Ford, Supreme, Yeezy, Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Maison Margiela. The floor is staffed with experts with menswear knowledge to help customers with information about the merchandise, authentication, resale value, and consignment services. "Our men's category has grown significantly over the last few years. We've become a top destination for men of all kinds to find the most covetable pieces from top designers, in addition to making money back on items they no longer want," said The RealReal chief merchant Rati Levesque in a statement. "We're thrilled to bring this category to life in our brick-and-mortar store to give our men's customer a chance to interact with our brand in person and meet with one of our top men's experts."

The store opening could be due to the fact that the company's menswear is expanding with sneakers and streetwear. The two categories have grown 130 percent year-over-year growth from 2017 to 2018. The men's brands include luxury and streetwear, infusing the two styles into one shop. Although the location was announced March 7, the official store launch date has not yet been confirmed.
