Jason Scott opening New York flagship

Jason Scott is opening his flagship store in the West Village today, April 19, 2016.

The small and intimate 500-square-foot shop located at 48th Eighth Avenue will be right across the street from Acne Studios. The new store launches with looks from the brand's spring 2016 collection including dip-dye crewnecks and French Terry shorts. Third-party offerings like Frame Denim are also available.

“When I first launched the brand, I had no fashion background and was going into a completely different industry,” said Jason Mandler, designer of Jason Scott, to WWD. “Now, after only three years, we have this store in New York, which is a huge milestone and a dream come true for us, giving us a footprint in one of the most amazing and competitive cities in the world, among the best brands in the world.”

In 2013, Jason Scott launched with a collection of knitwear in soft cotton. The brand has become best known for their hooded zip-up sweaters, V-necks, and Varsity jackets. It is available in fine department stores such as Bloomingdale's and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The New York store will be open seven days a week, and private appointments are also available for clients.
