On the brink of the show HBO "Ballers," the network opened a small pop-up shop in Los Angeles this past weekend. As the show has male main characters, the pop-up included menswear brands to complement the show's theme.
The pop-up was located at 633 North La Brea Avenue, as reported by WWD. The shop included brands such as Roc96 x MadeWorn, Buscemi, Pyer Moss and more. The temporary shop was a way to bring a more interactive experience to customers that infuses the elements of entertainment with the fashion industry.
“This is going to be the most action-packed and stylish season of ‘Ballers’ yet, so there was no other way to launch than with a fully-immersive experience to capture that energy and offer our audience the opportunity to shop the ‘Ballers’-inspired collection,” Tiffany Hasbourne, costume designer of the show, told WWD.
The store was open this past Friday and Saturday for locals in Los Angeles. The pop-up included bomber jackets, oversized t-shirts, hooded sweaters, and more to further reflect the "Ballers" lifestyle. Currently, there is no announcements on whether a more permanent store will be in the works in the future.
