Los Angeles locals gathered to various warehouses, discreet locations, from Commerce to downtown L.A. in order to attend the several sample sales that went on this past weekend. The two most popular sales included American Apparel’s flea market sale and L’Agence’s warehouse sale.
American Apparel had their annual rummage sale at their factory on Alameda Street in downtown L.A. The sale went on the entire weekend starting Friday and ending Sunday at 9 p.m. With American Apparel basics mixed in with high waisted jeans, skirts, and other miscellaneous clothing, the apparel ranged in price from 1 dollar to 20 dollars. The factory had an outside sale with boxes full of clothes to rummage through, while the upstairs factory boutique also had extra items on sale including shoes, accessories, and bottoms.
L’Agence had their sample sale on Saturday, March 28. The sale lasted from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at their warehouse. The L’Agence warehouse is located on 7261 E. Slauson Avenue in Commerce. Their sale included pieces from their older collections, mixing in separates with their chic basics. Their selection included items that were over 95 percent off. Known for its eclectic fashion, their sample sale included tops, shorts, and others. Their brand is typically carried and sold at Barney’s, Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Net-A-Porter.
