Starting as a Mexican pop band from Guadalajara, Maná has decided to move into a new venture. The Spanish rock band just confirmed that it will be launching a new denim brand entitled Ritos Del Sol.

The line includes various t-shirts and jeans for both men and women. Keeping the spirit of the band alive within the fashion line, the brand is reflective of members Fher Olvera, Sergio Vallín, Juan Calleros and Alex González. “We really wanted the line to be part of our personality,” Gonzales told WWD of the new brand. Ranging from edgy, loose tanks and comfy t-shirts, the brand keep its color palette simple with brown, white, grey, and black tones. As reported by WWD, Ritos Del Sol is now readily available through the brand’s newly launched e-commerce site. Pieces retail from 24 to 73 dollars, with a portion of the profits going towards Maná’s charity to preserve sea turtles.

Moving into fashion is a new step for Maná, as the band has mostly focused on creating and performing music. In the past, the band has earned four Grammy Awards and eight Latin Grammy Awards. Internationally, the Latin American band has sold over 40 million albums. With this following, it is likely that Ritos Del Sol will do well as a music-inspired fashion brand.
