Magento, a Los Angeles based eBay Enterprise developer, has become a trend for top fashion brands to work with to transform their e-commerce sites.
The development company specializes in e-commerce websites in the fashion industry by working through a range of markets. Their profession allows them to use their expertise on website development and business consultations to help boost new and existing fashion stores. Notable brands that use Magento’s e-commerce solutions include Balmain, Tracy Reese, Rebecca Minkoff, and Harvey Nichols.
Vaimo, an e-commerce company, was recently awarded EMEA E-Commerce Partner of the Year. One of Vaimo’s clients include Swedish fashion brand Filippa K and Nigerian e-commerce site Konga.com. Filippa K’s website gained recognition as a finalist for Best Web Design. Due to the site’s minimalistic design, the company was able to bring brand identity to their flagship stores. Konga increased its visitors by 200 percent through Magento’s platform. Konga’s online transactions increased by 460 percent since their launch in April 2014.
Alpenite also was recently honored with the 2015 EMA Magento Spirit of Excellence Award due to their outstanding commitment to the Magento ecosystem. Alpenite is the first Magento Gold Solution Partner in Italy due to its key projects that have focused primarily on the fashion industry including brands Bulgari, Balmain, and Borbonese.
The brand maximizes revenue and raises sales for companies through personalization and customer engagement. Apparel is one of the fastest growing e-commerce categories in the U.S. currently. “As consumers continue to demand compelling experiences with brands, retailers are challenged with finding partners that can create rich, differentiated online experiences for their customers while driving growth,” Mark Lavelle, senior vice president of global product and strategy for eBay Enterprise told ET Retail.
According to a survey from Robertshaw conducted last year, Magento maintains a market share of 26 percent in comparison to other competitors. Magento’s e-commerce system serves over 240,000 merchants globally. Its open-source ecosystem includes over 3,500 certified developers and 260 proven system integrators.
