H&M's sister company & Other Stories recently just launched a new collaboration. Partnering with California native designer Kim Gordon, the two have created a basics collection including abstract, delicate designs.
The collaboration includes a focus on the English pronoun "her," reflecting a feminine, soft presentation for the collection. & Other Stories worked directly with Gordon for the selection of styles in their archives down to the cuts and customizations of drawings.

With a pink shade for most of the election, the collaborative process includes non pieces in organic cotton with five silk scarves. The collective highlights a simple, sophisticated aesthetic with the words "her" and "morning mirror" reflective throughout. Currently, the prices for the pieces are not yet disclosed.
"Working with structured forms of T-shirts and other sweatshirts Hooded was as work from a blank canvas. I decided to go on the idea of pronouns, because I like the aura that surrounds the words. The thought of a word can create a whole atmosphere and it has a certain amount of mystery. Screen printing gives a unique and handcrafted look to the articles. The almost abstract prints feature a tinted look and an artistic look. I love the contrasts and when something unexpected is glamorous. At present, I think women can influence their environment by the way they dress," Gordon said of the collection.
The collection will be available August 31 at & Other Stores locations as well as through its online store.
