Los Angeles - Surf brand Hurley and Fender recently just announced a new collaboration. Joining forces, the two have come together to create a new menswear project that will launch October 3.

Starting next month, the collection will be available through Hurley’s website as well as in-stores. With a monochromatic color palette, the collection is mostly black with a few subtle shades of purple for the flannel shirt, as well as a two white tees with black writing. The collection reflects a rock-and-roll theme incorporated with surf culture. The collaboration was created with musicians in mind, as reported by WWD. “We wanted to make a kit that, if you’re a musician on tour, you wouldn’t need anything else,” J.P. Olson who worked on the Hurley collaboration told the publication.

The collection is moderate in price and ranges from 22 to 85 dollars. The collection consists of seven pieces including iconic Hurley board shorts, a flannel shirt, a trucker hat, a hoodie, and graphic tees. The southern California brand started with a mission to create clothes that are stylish and functional for the surf industry as well as all athletes. With this collaboration in mind, Hurley was able to branch out by incorporating musicians more into their customer base.
