Sergio Rossi CEO steps down

Christophe Mélard, chief executive of luxury footwear and accessories brand Sergio Rossi, has stepping
down from his role to pursue “new professional challenges” outside the Kering Group.The luxury conglomerate thanked Mélard for his “commitment during his tenure” and added that the name of his successor would be announced in due course. During the transition, Marco Bizzarri, CEO of Kering’s Luxury - Couture and Leather Goods division will take direct responsibility of the brand.
Mélard joined Kering in 2005 as YSL Beauté CFO and Roger & Gallet president, before being appointed chief executive and president of Sergio Rossi in 2009.
