Los Angeles - After announcing its long-anticipated first retail store, Stampd has finally come to Los Angeles. The contemporary brand announced its first flagship off of La Brea Avenue, which will open officially April 9.
The luxury streetwear brand had teased the new store for a while now. On its company Instagram page, Stampd unveiled that it would be “coming soon” to a Los Angeles location. The 1,400-square-foot store will be located off of La Brea, neighboring other fashion boutiques such as American Rag Cie and Bonobos. The store’s interior decor is reminiscent of a minimal, new age theme. Using black and white accents, the decor matches a simplistic, clean feel with a sophisticated aesthetic. “I’d been looking for a space in Los Angeles for a year and a half,” Chris Stamp, founder of the brand, told WWD. Although Stamp finally decided on this spot, other locations that were considered include Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Melrose Place.
The brand, which was founded in 2011, has a cultivated collection of apparel inspired by both East Coast and West Coast cultures. The brand’s merchandise includes denim, outerwear, hats, button-down shirts, and more. Currently, the brand has a full lifestyle collection with 10 capsules that founder Stamp headed himself. As the brand’s first debuting store, the location will offer Stampd’s elevated merchandise.
