Star Wars-inspired collection comes to PacSun

PacSun has collaborated with Lucasfilms and Disney for a new collection of apparel that honors the Star Wars saga. The Star Wars x On the Byas collection for Spring/Summer 2015 will be available this upcoming week just in time for Star Wars Day on May 4th.

The galaxy-inspired capsule collection includes prints that resemble characters such as Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Boba Fett, and more. The menswear apparel has various pieces included button-downs, t-shirts, and jerseys. There are pieces that incorporate a lot of black and white contrast including a Stormtrooper graphic print tee. One of the pieces takes the form of a sports jersey with “Empire” across the back of the top. Some of the pieces are more casually-focused and are decorated with floral, tropical prints in white, gray, and black colors.

The California based company is known for its youthful laid-back style in fashion. Founded in 1980, the company built its fashion empire around bohemian fashions mixed with L.A. street style. Offering both womenswear and menswear, the retailer currently operates over 600 stores across the country.

To launch the collection, at PacSun’s Third Street location in Santa Monica, Star Wars Stormtroopers will be present on May 2nd from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. The official collection will be available in stores and online starting May 4th.
